Appetizer
What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? Uh….Has to be Road Runner and Wile Coyote…I also liked the Bugs Bunny stuff too. I never got into the others for some reason.
Soup
Pretend you are about to get a new pet. Which animal would you pick, and what would you name it? I’d get another Goldendoodle dog for sure; I generally don’t name my pets for weeks- I like to wait for their personality to shine first and then name them. Until then I often pick a silly name just so they have something to go by.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy getting all dressed up for a special occasion? Easy. 1. ONE. I never get dressed up for ANYTHING. Period. It’s all a game, a farce and why be part of some show off time to prove to others how sharp you are? It’s jeans and a button down shirt at my BEST…even for weddings and funerals. I don’t own dresses, suits, fancy anything. Never have and never will.
Main Course
What kind of music do you listen to while you drive? Heavy metal. Or Pink Floyd (lol) I need to stay awake AND go with a tune that releases my road rages I tend to get…
Dessert
When was the last time you bought a clock? And in which room did you put it? A what? Clock? Shit I haven’t bought in who knows how long- 10, maybe 15 yrs ago? Who pays attention to such stupid stuff anyway?
Appetizer: Name a color you find soothing. White. Or blue. Most shades of blue, but I really like grayish blues. <--Like that.
Soup : Using 20 or less words, describe your first driving experience. Down at Camp Lejuene: (my X taught me to drive) We were driving and got chased by the MPs.
Salad: What material is your favorite item of clothing made out of? Easy. Cotton. I rarely wear anything else, save for denim.
Main Course: Who is a great singer or musician who, if they were to come to your town for a concert, you would spend the night outside waiting for tickets to see? I have waited in line for: David Gilmore and Roger Waters. Pink Floyd before they split. There is no one else who deserves such a pilgrimage.
Dessert: What is the most frequent letter of the alphabet in your whole name (first, middle, maiden, last, etc.)? A. Lots of a’s…5 altogether.
So I keep messing with different themes here, trying to find the perfect boringly boring black and white look…the other theme was great until I broke it beyond repair. I re-installed it and broke it again so I ditched it. THIS one is pretty simple and so far it’s easy to adjust.
I was over at Michael’s and Ogre’s blogs a lot today and noticed the cool themes they both use; so I went looking for a new theme for this site and found this one- it’s called Coffee Break and it’s SO ME. I love coffee but don’t take breaks very often. Awe well, can’t find an exact match but this will do.
Appetizer What is your favorite type of art?
MUSIC!! Pink Floyd and Heavy metal! Live. In my face.
Soup When was the last time you got a free lunch (or breakfast or dinner)? Who paid for it?
The other morning- a friend bought me breakfast at the local diner. Omelet, bacon, english muffin, homefries, coffee. YUMMAY!
Salad On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how emotional are you?
Hmm. I have to be honest huh? I’d give me a 6 or 7 at certain times of the month; the rest of the time I’m pretty even at a 5.
Main Course Approximately how long do you spend each day responding to emails?
An hour. Which is TOO much time but, I treasure the friends I have made online and will not blow’em off!
At work- we don’t use email for normal communications. We tend to have more meetings, and the bosses are around 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and they share info live. Email is used for announcements only, for the most part. There are over 1000 people at my work, and perhaps on a busy day there are 5 emails that go out. My work has a policy about being on computers- and time wasted on them (and email in particular); bosses are not allowed to email people when a phone call will suffice; senior management discourages the use of email and directs the bosses to TALK in PERSON with people. It’s pretty good too- since they’re required to TALK more, they tend to be away from their desks more-out on the units seeing what really goes on. We peons like it.
Dessert To what temperature do you usually set your home’s thermostat?
In the middle of the winter, when it’s at it’s bitterest, my therm is set at 55. I HATE HOT air blowing, and I hate dry hot air even more. My bathroom has it’s own controls and I will push it up to 65 on the really COLD days. Never higher.
