Appetizer
Describe a toy you remember from your childhood.
I’m not the proper title for this , but my Mom got me a Baby Alive (?) doll one time. It was made of soft plastic and it “cried” and “wet” itself. (Rolling my eyes). I HATED THE DAMN THING. I was a tomboy and my mother was forever trying to turn me into a PINK GIRL- one of those girly girls who wore pink fluffy dresses and played with ugly dolls and all.
I hated it so much I cut off all it’s hair and poked the eyes out. I stripped the clothes and cut them all up. I was MEAN to it…lol my poor Mom was beside herself. I would toss the doll into the pond across the road, and then drag it out and leave it on the lawn to “dry off”…eventually I recall hanging it on the apple tree in my yard and my Dad taking it down and throwing it away. I never got another doll after that.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest) how observant are you?
I’m very observant. I have an uncanny ability to see things most people don’t see. Some observations are subjective and others are objective. I tend to note the subjective more…and rarely has this failed me when I’m trying to figure something or someone out. When I’m working, I use clinical observation skills and this is vital to the health and well being of patients. These are learned skills.
Salad
Where would you rather be at this very moment?
At this beach. Provincetown MA…
Main Course
When was the last time you learned something new?
I attended a four day training seminar at the beginning of the summer: Hospice Care. I have done this for years, but at the recent training I learned some new methods and ways and means to care for dying people.
Dessert
Fill in the blank: I have ____________ but I haven’t ____________.
I have hiked the Presidential Traverse, but I haven’t hiked Mt. Everest. Some day I would like to do that!

Appetizer - One of my favorite toys from childhood was Johnny Seven One Man Army, a toy gun that could launch grenades, shells and bullets - all of them plastic, that is. There was even a cap-firing pistol that could be detached from the rest of the thing. Best of all, despite what the gun control crowd would say today, I did not end up as a gun-crazed mass murderer.
Soup - Maybe a 6, at most 7.
Salad - On my way to Idaho, for my next vacation. Just have a little patience and get my remaining work done, and I’ll be there in a few days!
Main Course - Do piano parts to songs from Pirates Of Penzance count? OK, on the count of 4:
When the foeman bares his steel
Tarantara! tarantara!
Dessert - I have camped out and hiked to archaeological sites in Chaco Canyon NM, but have not been to Mesa Verda NP in CO. Thus, my Anasazi education is still incomplete.
