The Back Yard

My back yard - today.
I’m still around…just not into blogging these past few days. I’m all moved and settled in. Just in time to leave once again for my last trek of the year: Sunday I’m leaving Logan Airport, heading to London, then Rome, then Athens….I’m visiting Greece for 3 weeks. I’ll be back stateside on the 22nd.
I need to THANK Duncan and Civil Truth for their posting here-for keeping the site going in my frequent absences. It’s good to have friends who will do this.

WTF? Who approved this vacation? I expect paperwork on my desk.. in triplicate!!
Have fun. I leave for upstate New York next Monday and will be there for three weeks before taking off for training on the 24th. I’ll try to keep the lights on for ya though and continue to post until then.
Oh, and I hear there is a fire down in Greece. Make sure to bring some marshmellows…

I love cattytails. Her yard is FULL of them near the river edge. THOUSANDS of them. Those, along with wild flowers and planted seasonal shrubs make Raven’s yard something to envy. Mature fruit bushes, lilacs, wild roses- you name it, it’s there. Along with every variety of tree, too! A beautiful piece of land she acquired!
