I haven't really had time to play too much with it...I do know the light is awesome, not too HOT,
and one CAN download PDF files. LOL....so, when I have had some more time to play I'll post about it.

Teach: About the library thing? My town's library is so small they don't stock up on ALL the books I like to read; one will never find Conservative books there, nor nursing type reads either. So I end up buying many if not most...

Three?! You got THREE Kindles?! I am green with jealousy! It was on my Christmas list but I got the same speech from my hubby that Kat got from hers. (There must be an online resource page for tight men this year. )

You have to post an in depth review for us after you've given it a good test drive.

I hope you've recovered from your illness and that you're feeling much better.

Wishing you a wonderful and happy New Year, Raven!

Wow!!! That is one cool gadget. I would have to dedicate one to holding reference material, no doubt. I hadn't seen those... don't get out much these days. Merry Christmas Raven dear! Glad you had such a good one.

Oh, and doesn't the Kindle have the capability to expand it's memory? Maybe with some memory card, you can expand the library to 400 books per Kindle ;-)

THREE Kindles??? OMG, I am soooo jealous! I was so tempted, but the cost was a bit high, and the Beloved Hubby suggested that we wait until any possible bugs in the first generation were worked out (which only means that we would deal with the bugs in the second generation, LOL)...

**DO** let us know how you like it, Raven - I think I'd like to put one on my wishlist for next year, right alongside the Canon Rebel xti DSLR I've been lusting after... ;-)

Merry, merry, dear friend! I love you!

That sounds pretty cool. I'd be interested to know what you think of it after a couple weeks of use. I go thru about 2-3 books a week, depending on size, so that would help me out. Of course, I get a ton of them from the local libraries. I'll give the Raleigh area kudos for the huge number of them we have.
